Did you get shortlisted for Intuit’s interview? Well, if you really want to bag a job at this prestigious organization, you need to prepare yourself well before you go to the interview.
In this post, I will share my Intuit interview experience and hopefully this will help you to get a better picture about the interview process at Intuit.
About Intuit
Intuit is a multinational company that provides software solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) worldwide. It has offices in over 40 countries and employs more than 10,000 people worldwide. The company's technology solutions include QuickBooks, TurboTax, Mint, and Primavera P6 Project Management Software etc.
Getting into big companies like Intuit is not everyone’s cup of tea. Hence, you need to perform really well in order to bag a job here.
Few weeks ago, I gave my Intuit interview and in the following article, I will be sharing the procedure as well as my personal Intuit interview experience!
Gist of my Intuit interview experience:
Round 1
In the first round, you have to answer a series of questions which will be held online. The questions are designed to assess your knowledge about various areas of accounting and finance.
Online Test (Aptitude)
The online test is a standardized test that consists of multiple choice and matching questions, where you need to choose the best answer from the few given options. The duration of an online test varies depending on your location and time zone.
If you take it in the morning like me, it will be 1 hour long, while if taken at night, it can be as much as 4 hours long. The difficulty level of these tests depends on how many questions are asked in each section and whether there are shortcuts available for solving them or not!
You should prepare yourself well before taking this type of exam because answering questions correctly will help improve your skills even further than normal practice does. Know about all possible question types and how they are asked so that when one comes along during your interview process, then you can confidently choose an option without getting stuck somewhere along with other candidates who might also be struggling too! This will give you an awesome Intuit interview experience.
Round 2
The second round involves an interview with one of the managers from the company, who will ask you technical questions related to your area of specialization (e.g., tax law). You should expect them to ask some difficult questions throughout this phase as well!
